Brent and I are officially members of the national bone marrow registry! We've volunteered to donate bone marrow if we're picked as matches for patients. The initial process was simple--they send you a kit with swabs that you sweep the inside of your cheek with and send back. The testing is completed and added to the registry, and if you're determined to be a good match for a patient they request more thorough testing.
